Our impact
Find out more about the impact we make across all our services.
We hold the Lexcel Practise Management Standard, the quality standard given by the Law Society for client care, compliance and practice management.
We hold Cyber Essentials Plus, a government-backed certification scheme which helps keep organisations and clients’ data safe from cyber attacks. This is the highest standard, involving rigorous and independent testing of our IT security.
We hold the Advice Quality Standard (AQS) which is awarded to organisations that give advice to members of the public on legal issues. Organisations are audited every two years and have to demonstrate that they are accessible, effectively managed, and employ staff with the skills and knowledge to meet the needs of their clients.
We are registered with the Immigration Advice Authority (IAA) which is a government body that protects seekers of immigration advice through regulation, enforcement and promoting best practice.
RCJ Advice is an independent charity, but from day one we have been a unique member of the national Citizens Advice service. We are assessed annually to ensure we meet with the national Citizens Advice standards.
We are members of the Law Centres Network, working together with other Law Centres in the UK to get justice, even if they can’t afford a lawyer.

Our work is overseen by a Board of Trustees which includes representatives of the Judiciary, law firms and other individuals.
