The MJSS is a specialised service delivered by RCJ Advice which provides practical help and advice to people whose convictions are quashed after a Commission referral or after an out-of-time appeal. An independent baseline data report gives more details of our work.

We are seeking an experienced generalist advice practitioner with knowledge and practice in welfare benefits, especially disability benefits advice and housing.

This post will provide a community focused advice and wellbeing service for individual clients within our Miscarriages of Justice Support Service. The post will provide one-to-one contact and signpost and support service users in accessing relevant and appropriate primary care and other support organisations that are involved in supporting adults with severe mental health problems.

Experience of working with mental health service users will be an advantage.
