City Advice

City Advice is a free advice service that offers confidential and impartial advice to help people in the City of London manage their everyday problems.

We work with Toynbee Hall who lead on the contract and if you live, work or study in the City you can access advice on:

  • Welfare benefits 
  • Housing Debt 
  • Employment rights
  • Consumer Rights 
  • Family and relationship problems

City advice is available to anyone who lives, works or studies in the City of London Square Mile (or the City of London Corporation Estate).

The City of London refers to the specific area traditionally known as ‘the Square Mile’ or ‘the City’, which encompasses the financial district and historic centre of London.

You can then be referred to our specialist advice for housing, family matters or employment issues.
