If we are unable to help you, we will provide information about other organisations who may be able to.

Public child law

If social services are currently involved with your family and they have either removed the children from your care or are planning to, you may be able to get the help of a duty solicitor. They attend our offices or help remotely in emergency cases where social services have started proceedings in court to remove the children from your care.

Legal Aid

In some cases, if you are on a low income, you may be eligible for legal aid which means that you may have to pay a limited amount of money or none at all. We are only able to take on a small number of complex legal aid cases based in London.
