Local Citizens Advice Consultancy

We provide advice to staff and volunteers on immigration legal matters to local Citizens Advice organisations across the UK, enabling them to better support their clients.

The purpose of the unique project is to deliver a consultancy helpline to staff and volunteers across the national Citizens Advice network.

We deliver this service through our dedicated team of fully qualified advisors, supported by our Immigration and Asylum solicitor. The helpline helps with OISC Level 1 and 2 queries, enabling staff and volunteers to respond to their clients legal advice queries. In 2022, our service won the “most outstanding impact award” by Citizens Advice, who provided us with this feedback:

Our longer term aim is that organisations will have the confidence and the knowledge to deal with OISC Level 1 queries themselves in the future.
