RCJ Advice and colleagues are saddened to share that Alison Lamb, former CEO of RCJ Advice and Islington Citizens Advice, died peacefully last week. Alison was a hugely valued and respected friend, colleague and inspirational leader who, over her career, achieved and delivered many outstanding innovations and partnerships in the service of social justice and advice services. She was widely admired.

At a recent Civil Justice Council Conference, Clare Moriarty, the national Citizens Advice Chief Executive, paid tribute to Alison's achievements. "Alison has been the driving force for so many partnerships, especially those collaborations providing legal support responses to violence against women and girls. It is not exaggerating to say women are safer today due to Alison Lamb."
